1. hit it off/with: 누구와 금방 친해지다.

영작할 때 표현하기 어려운 문장이기 때문에 통째로 외워두면 편하게 사용할 수 있다.

 

A: How did the blind date go?

B: It was fabulous. She was amazingly attrative. We could hit it off right away.:

A: That's cool. I hope that you will have a real quality time with her.

특히 음식 및 식당이 마음에 들때 원어민들이 자주 사용하는 표현

 

A: Did you go to the Mexican restaurant donw the street? 

B: Yes, There is hit the spot. The food tastes amazing. 

 

A: Do you want ice-water? 

B: Thanks, That is hit the spot. 

 

마음에 드는 표현으로 legit도 사용된다.

A: Wow, look at that. So delicious.
